Speak up

for good government

The United States of America was supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. But we have strayed from that vision. We elect politicians to represent us, but all too often they focus their efforts on their party, donors, and the next election. We have a right to expect more.

Our principles

Our principles

1

Free and fair elections for all

Make it as easy as possible to vote while maintaining public trust. Access to the polls and election integrity are not mutually exclusive.

It should be easy to vote and hard to cheat. Access to the polls and election integrity aren't mutually exclusive.

2

Accurate and unbiased voter info

We need easy access to accurate & credible information that helps us determine our stances on key issues facing government.

We need easy access to accurate and credible information about key issues, so we can take a stance.

3

Commitment to problem-solving

We need easy access to accurate & credible information that helps us determine our stances on key issues facing government.

Elected officials need to start with the problems that need to be solved, and commit to finding the right approach—regardless of party loyalty.

4

Respect for opposing views

Legislators should be actively soliciting ideas from their constituents. And constituents should feel confident that their voices are heard.

7

No more conflicts of interest

We should do everything we can to take money out of politics, and eliminate the need for political parties to rely on lobbyist support.
